For example, as in any country, there is government competition, public risk, and the need to promote growth; there is competition in public institutions, and as in any part of the economy (Firm and non-profit sector; private investments); there are many forms of entrepreneurship; and it is more difficult for firms to control economic growth than in countries where private investment is high or where firms are not under professional pressure. Market competitiveness of some countries is more difficult for firms to control than that of others–economic growth, public expense, employee or non-equity status, productivity growth, and declining net worth are all closely correlated with wages. Because many of our nation’s good schools compete with much smaller private and public institutions, we have this problem of overindulgent competition leading to excessive real wages.
